Nova Scotia is known as Canada's Ocean Playground. I live in Amherst, Nova Scotia, and home of "The world's highest tides!" They are only a short distance away, and our little Shire Town is separated from the bay with an Acadian dyke and some pasture land. We feel the force of a Fundy breeze on a regular basis!
People ask me what makes a great photograph? I definitely think it's a recipe, and some of the ingredients used are light, fog, mist, mood, location, composition, and inspiration. The Bay of Fundy and the rest of Nova Scotia provide me with all the ingredients I need. It's just a matter of coming up with the right balance to get the perfect recipe.
It's ideal for exploring, hiking, or just clearing the mind. It's all within an hours drive, and makes for great day trips. We have some amazing shoreline, and did I mention that salt air increases your appetite? We have some great places to eat, some fine micro breweries, and of course fresh seafood. Plan a trip along our shoreline, and if you need any help deciding where to go, let me know! I'm only an email away!
If you would like to follow along for some Bay of Fundy photo adventures, follow along on Instagram. I post on a somewhat regular basis. :-))
